Parting is one of the most hurtful things that one can experience. It is not only heart breaking but you cannot seem to think what to do with what’s left of you. The worst part is it happened two weeks after he has given me the engagement ring – 24-k gold with little diamonds around it.

I am not going to talk about the details of the break up. I just wanted to get rid of the engagement ring completely. I tried returning it to him but I could no longer locate him. One night, I came across a jeweler site on the web where selling gold was made easier and faster. I thought about it and decided to sell the engagement ring. Why not? Instead of throwing it or burying it in the grounds, I would rather make full use out it.

I submitted the request and received the gold kit right away. I followed the instructions and did everything it told. 24 hours later, I received my check and was so happy about it. That was a good and profitable way to forgive, forget and move on. But still I hope that would be the first and last time I would be selling gold jewelry, especially an engagement ring.

My dads golden watch

Keeping this old timepiece, my dad’s golden watch has served him for long years. It’s been his companion through formal and casual meetings, and his only asset that was of value. He was working as a farmer in the province yet he always believes that something gold would make any look special. Looks could also impress clients, he mentions, and that he wears it with any style. However, in time, the gold started to tarnish and the polish soon fades. Whenever my mom and I look at the watch, we would both wish that we could buy a new on for my dad, especially not that father’s day is coming. When we heard about ways to sell old gold, my mom and I went to dad and asked him if he wants a new one in place of his old time piece.

Of course, he hesitated. He loved his old timepiece so much and wasn’t so sure if he could get the money’s worth of that item. We went to many stores that sell jewelry, and had it appraised. When we got our money, me went with my dad to buy a new gold watch. Just right in the time of father’s day, my dad has a new gold timepiece to adorn his wrist, something he could be proud of. He still wears everything with style to date. And now, he wears a gold watch that fits him.

I called the phone number on the television screen that said that they would help you sell scrap jewelry for lots of money.
