The origin of these models goes back to the 18th ad 10th century when warships were the major carrier of soldiers and lead the battles from the front. However the model ships of the time were quite unplanned and often did not represent the true construction or framing of the battleships.</p>
<p>Yet the wooden model ships of the time often displayed the representation of the form of hull and deck furnishing including the masts, spars and general configuration.
