They Only Do Residential Roofing Jobs

I just learned that not all roofing companies are residential roofing companies. I guess that there are some that do residential only and some that do commercial only. I would think that it would be smart to do both, or at least have two different divisions within your roofing company. I would hate to turn away any customer these days. It is getting harder and harder for smaller companies to make it and if you limit yourself to just residential roofing or commercial roofing you are limiting your income.

That got me to thinking that if other contractors limit themselves too, then what do they all know that I do not. Maybe it is best if you do just residential replacement windows and not commercial replacement windows. If you only did residential, then I am sure that you would need to pay half the people and insure only half the people that you would if you did commercial work that would possibly be a much bigger job than a small house.

This whole thing has really got me curious on the differences and the pros and cons to residential and commercial work for contractors. I am thinking that I am going to research a little bit on the internet because you can learn anything on the internet.
