My sister called me today to ask if she could borrow some money. Since she still lives at home with my parents, I asked her why she did not just ask mom and dad for the money. She explained that it was for an anniversary gift for them and it was a surprise.

I had completely forgotten about their anniversary, so it was a good thing she called. I was not sure what to get them, but she knew that she was getting them each two different funny t shirts. The funny t shirts she found online were geared towards funny marriage sayings. Since they were also cheap t shirts, she could afford to get them each two with my money.

I could not decide what to get them, and then it hit me. If I paid for the cheap t shirts, then I would just put my sister’s and my name on the card. My parents would not care, and when they saw the funny t shirts they would just be laughing anyway, and not asking who picked them out and who paid for them.

I will have to remember the name of that website, so I can get my husband one or two of the funny t shirts for our anniversary.
